SCALING UP SUSTAINABLY

 

Since 2019 Change Ag successfully harvested 8,000 acres of whole hemp plant biomass, capturing all components of the plant; fibre, hurd, seed and green biomass. We have baled approximately 28 million pounds of hemp flower, fibre and hurd biomass into over 28,000 bales for sale. Our Whole Plant Agronomy approach has created significant new business opportunities for our residual streams of fibre, hurd, seed, and hemp green biomass for export domestically and internationally.

INDUSTRIAL HEMP CENTERS

Change Ag’s Industrial Hemp Centres then process the whole plant more economically, providing products for de-hulled seed, animal bedding, green construction, and non-THC cannabinoid markets in North America while partnering with forward-looking companies to develop markets for paper, plastic, auto parts, and more. Carbon credit markets, particularly in the US also offer promising opportunities. Our team’s connections with the best-in-class industrial hemp suppliers and customers put us at the leading edge of the sustainable materials revolution.

After 3 years of research and development, we have completed an 8,000 sq. ft. GMP compliant, state of the art hemp biomass processing facility in Newton, Manitoba, our first industrial-scale facility and Centre of Excellence for continuing R&D. At the heart of the operation is our patent-pending Integrated Decortication Line (IDL), capable of processing the entire hemp plant at 10,000 pounds per hour – stalk, seeds, and residual dust. Each IDL is completely scalable and configurable to meet multiple customer product specifications and changing market demand for new hemp-based products
